WTC program update
Starting October 1, 2012, the nationwide network of providers in the National Program has been opened up to survivors. Previously, only responders could access care outside the Metropolitan area but now if you are a survivor — which includes lower Manhattan residents at the time of 9/11, students, cleanup workers and lower Manhattan workers — you can get care outside of New York.
If you are a survivor, who is enrolled in the WTC Health Program, live outside the New York City metropolitan area, and would like to get care outside of New York, you can enroll in the nationwide program by calling the program at 1-888-982-4748.
If you are not currently enrolled in the WTC Health Program but believe you maybe eligible call 1-888-982-4748 or view more information on how to apply on the NIOSH website.
